The Muin Research Group at the University of Southern California works at the intersection of structural engineering and data science. We are part of the Sonny Astani Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The overarching goal of our research is to enhance post-disaster resilience. We are developing a holistic post-disaster monitoring and recovery system that will study the data collected from the structural and human components of a community and improve the resiliency of a city.
